Coach Terry (our club’s GK coach) and I had planned out weeks prior that he would be at our session tonight to work with our GKs before our league play opens in St Louis this weekend.
Without a full-time GK (see ISO a GK), I’ve looked to get 8-10 of the girls involved with the club’s GK training program. However, this makes for a large number of kids at the GK training, and takes away from what Terry can do with the actual GKs there.
So the idea was for him to come out tonight to work with our group directly, and for me to run a shooting/finishing session so that the GKs could see plenty of action.
