MDW Surprise!
Memorial Day Weekend just wouldn't be the same without some soccer up at the National Sports Center in Blaine. Blindsided the 09 little ballers with a new team formation (3-4-3) 30 minutes prior to kickoff of our first match. Four matches later, I overhear a couple of them complaining that they have to walk over to the big soccer ball, again, for another team pic.
Can't make this stuff up...
Medals or not, in my mind this would have been a very successful weekend regardless, with the team firing on all cylinders and playing some of the best collective soccer to date against some solid local competition.
